What is the Cup of Sugar anonymous email service and how does it work?

Why anonymous email?
This whole dating game is about communicating, and one of the easiest ways of getting in touch these days is by sending and receiving emails.

However not everyone is keen on giving out their email address to people they hardly know.

For this reason we created a safe anonymous email service which allows you to send emails to and receive emails from your contacts without them being able to find our your real email address.

Sending emails
You can send emails to any of your contacts by addressing the email to theirusername-member@cupofsugar.com.

You will have to send the emails from the email address you have registered with us so that we know it is you that is sending the message. (Actually there are other ways.)

Your real email address will be removed from the message and replaced with yourusername-member@cupofsugar.com.

Receiving emails
Email addressed to yourusername-member@cupofsugar.com will be delivered to your real email address.

But don't worry, not all emails will get through. Only emails from people in your contacts list will be allowed.
